Treaties

The following Treaties were made possible through an understanding that together, peace and prosperity will prevail though the hard work and sacrifice of those that stood for the very principles that the Federation stands for.

The Treaties below no longer are in affect. The TBA has disbanded and is no longer and alliance. This is here for archival purposes only.

The Royal Council Alliance and The True Blood Alliance

RCA/ TBA treaty

Article I: Preamble

In the spirit of furthering friendship, cooperation, protection, and economic stability the Royal Council Alliance (RCA) and the True Blood Alliance (TBA) hereby agree to all articles below. Both parties agree that the TBA becomes a protectorate of the RCA until such time as the TBA can stand on its own as an independent alliance. A review will be made by both parties every week to determine when this would be possible. At this time, the RCA and the TBA will work together as allies to further diplomatic, economic, social, scientific, and military cooperation, growth, and expansion.

Article II: Protection

Should the TBA require it, the RCA agrees to give aid, financially and military to TBA. The RCA agrees to aid the TBA in the defense of allied sovereign territory. Additionally, the RCA may elect to help the TBA in an offensive war provided that the TBA has a legitimate reason for fighting, however, the RCA is not required to do so. The TBA is not obliged to help RCA in any offensive wars that they get involved in, but are encouraged to uphold mutual protection, whether defensive or offensive. The TBA must exhaust all means of diplomacy first before resorting to military action. The TBA can call upon the RCA diplomats for assistance if they are unsuccessful the first time. Additionally, RCA and TBA troops will be required to attend joint training sessions to give a broader spectrum of fighting styles. The RCA and TBA forces will then be able to work together easier. Independent nations within each alliance will maintain the right and ability to exercise sovereignty over their own troops and forces and enter into a war as an ally to either side with or without consent of their alliance.

Article III: Advisers

The TBA agrees that four RCA delegates designated by the RCA High Council will receive an advisory position in the TBA to help them in the growth and prosperity of their mutual alliance. These delegated advisers will have no voting rights; they will serve as an advisory council to the TBA members, providing guidance in the best interest of the TBA. These delegates are to be in addition to any existing members of the TBA.

Additionally, the RCA Council agrees to have one delegate, appointed by the TBA to relay information and decisions made within the RCA that could affect the TBA Protectorate Treaty. This one delegate is in addition to any members of the RCA who also hold a position with the TBA. This delegate is the official voice of the TBA within the RCA Chambers.

Article IV: Information

If TBA intelligence reports discover information that will harm or generally hurt the welfare of the RCA, then the TBA will turn the information over to the President, Vice President, Minister of Intelligence, and Minister of Defense of the RCA within 24 hours. All parties and members of both Alliances agree to keep all allied treaty information and council discussions confidential.

If RCA intelligence reports discover information that will harm or generally hurt the welfare of the TBA, then RCA will turn the information over to a Blood Head of the TBA within 24 hours. They agree to keep all allied treaty information and council discussions confidential.

Article V: Treaties

The TBA is free to do as they wish internally. The TBA may coordinate its own foreign affairs, however, if the TBA wishes to sign any sort of a pact with any other alliance, they are required to discuss it with the RCA High Council, as it could potentially cause a conflict. The TBA can be assured this will be fair and unrestricted to a sensible extent.

Article VII: Nullification

This treaty can be nullified at any time, should the RCA Council or the TBA Council agree that the treaty is no longer beneficial. Nullification shall have a process which both Alliances agree to uphold. Should one Council wish to end the treaty, it must be stated in a forum and posted for a minimum of 96 hours before the termination shall take affect. This will allow for Protectorate Withdrawals.

Article VIII: Amendments

Amendments to the treaty can be made, provided that both the RCA and TBA Councils pass a 3/4 vote respectively. Both Councils must be in agreement and both Councils must sign off on the amendment.
